A week to go to more of this with Kh!
To experiment with ways of visually capturing and representing time passing, I analyzed my window view immediately every time I woke up in the morning by taking pictures of it for 10 days in length. That explains the changes of angle, shades and views of every printed photographs and shows how I am very conscious of time passing by everyday.
I like listening to abstract forms or foreign language music that I don’t understand which strips away off their context but somehow it feels not a must to know the meaning. For the second project of this semester, I would like to suggest the same concept through visuals; since we don’t understand the text we see, it frees us from confines of more linear thinking about the image, thus the text become acceptable as image. Texts, photographs and color scheme inspired by Sigur Rós.
